About
Author
The middle child of what modern society calls an army of
a family, Earma Brown grew up on the farm lands of Arkansas
with her parents, 7 sisters and two brothers. She read her
first book at age five and was hooked. Her siblings described
her as almost never being without a book in hand. "Growing
up in a large family on a farm, I learned a strong sense of
family, community, work ethics, passion for life and compassion
for the world," says Earma.
Though life choices led her on a detour from her writing
career and ministry her revived love affair with words, reading,
stories and literary expression has come to fruition. While
serving her church family as Covenant Church's green room
hostess and one of the senior pastors' armorbearers for years,
she penned her first book, "In the Spirit of Armorbearing."
Those earlier life lessons, passion for life, and compassion
for the world is the foundation and inspiration she draws
from for the stories and books she now writes.
